1920’s DIVA – Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture Fall Winter 2013/2014

Inspired by the divas from the 1920’s decade with their jewels of pearls and Swarovski crystals, black feathers, loose trousers and flared gowns, a collection created for women who like to wear beautiful pieces. The message was most certainly clear “Armani”, the master has proved once again his speciality in creating garments that go beyond the dreamy dimension, his visualization supported the fact that clothes are to be purchased and not just for you to only wear them in your dreams. Giorgio Armani’s main choice of was nude and the prime material used was crinoline a solid fabric embellished with crystals, almost hidden by the silk organza revealing a sophisticated nude look. Shining Swaroswski crystals lit up the see-through dresses on the black organza, added further movement to the ball gowns as they came down the runway. Everything during the show was ‘a little bit of heaven’ but ‘great deal of luxury’.
