Athens Xclusive Designers Week Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Hellas SA showcased creations of Greek and foreign designers with their Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 from the rebellious and punk attitude collection of favored New Yorker Patricia field to drama and emotion with designs of new designer Notis Panayotou. Despite the harsh financial time in Greece, Athens Fashion week still managed to make it celebratory event with 12 new brilliant designers showing that fashion continues to inspire and is a never ending explosion of ideas and a promise to success. So how will it all play after four days of different showcases who will make it in your wardrobe? Well it is certainly clear that this coming W13/14 season is all about contrast. Ambiguity between masculine and feminine (Ratt by Ritta Attalla), strength and fragility (Stylianos), opulence and grundge (Angelos Frenzos) or the feminine sci-fi flair (Loukia Kyriakou),and finally past and present (Miltos)…These contrasts reflect the multiple facets of the 21st century woman and, above all celebrating her personal style.
