The gallery 45 opens its doors for the art and esthetic lovers on the 5th of June with the solo show of Blaqk – the collaboration between Greg Papagrigoriou and Chris Tzaferos (Simek).
Both visual artists work with calligraphic forms, letters, lines, geometric shapes and negative spaces creating amazing patterns and textures.
The team of graphic designers have participate in numerous exhibitions and festivals & projects around the world and worked for companies such as Chanel, Four seasons, Nike, Adidas, Nespresso, Vodafone and Anadolou university, and now The gallery 45 made it possible for us to see their artworks as well in Limassol.
They work with murals, painting, graphic design among other things. Greg works mostly with spontagneous gestures and movements, shapes that mostly inspired from brush strokes and nature and Simek with lines, shapes, negative spaces and glitches.
The visitors will be able to forget about the quarantine days and dig into the world of geometric patterns and compositions that reveal abstract art and graphic design in a very aesthetic way. We can study the unique architecture of the space & material throught their artworks and enjoy being in the gallery space right in the cultural center of Limassol.
The atmosphere of the gallery itself creates a very special mood and feeling for the visitors, wrapping them in a warm and unordinary mixture of historical and at the same time modern visual elements that worth experiencing.
The exhibition will be held from the 5th of June till the 15th of July 2021.
