Innovation and tradition, craftsmanship and research, contemporary and modern: a collection that has been developed intelligently into different perspectives, with excellence as the only common denominator, being completely in harmony with the philosophy of the trademark. This is the image that appears before the eye in the spaces furnished by Fendi Casa, with a powerful emotional impact that confirms the high level of the settings. The upholstery, but also the traditional furniture in its various interpretations, conveys the idea of luxury naturally and with masterful skill.
The range of colours creates a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere: champagne, ivory, light ttaupe: almost ethereal nuances that are pure and bright, reinforced by energetic shades of ebony and night blue. A multi-sensorial and multi-faceted effect for the fabrics, true tailor-made clothes always inspired by tradition, reproduced and studied to go beyond standard performance in terms of versatility, resistance and being pleasing to the touch: the chenille fabric is tangible, with natural “soft touch” mantles, elegant and masculine the chalk-stripes and designs with chevrons, the small diamond quilted velvets with upholstery effects that cover chairs and backrests impeccably; a silken effect for the brilliant striped silks, the needlecord, the delicate checkerboard design and the “non-solid” colours, plus precious and warm cashmere wools used for embroidery, plaids and quilted cushions.
The soft, smooth full-grain leathers are no exception, natural grains in chocolate, cognac, panama and champagne tones, enhanced by high-quality traditional tanning craftsmanship. Always present is the traditional grained leather, crocodile,dark chocolate and the shagreen print declined in a delicate porcelain tone. The lacquered cabinets become precious modular elements to be completed with glass shelves, bookshelves and ledges covered in silk and embellished by jewelled handles. Extra-dark tones of “Ebony Macassar” and “Carballo”, softer tones for “Erable Maple”, the veneers in precious woods.
To complete the collection, natural stone in evocative declinations of marble and onyx. On the table tops, the characteristic marble veins of gris pulpis: in the transparencies of containers and luminous spheres to refract the light like sculptures. Precious crafted embroidery with equestrian motifs such as “Villa Borghese” and the historic saddlery, typical products of our maison. The same is true for the fur, fox, Orylag and Lapin Rex rabbit, historic elements of the collection. The crystal lamps, blown and crafted by master artisans in Murano, are offered together with vases. The new versions of jade-coloured chandeliers with Swarovski crystal drops are presented. For the first time the Rich and Ribot sofas and the Zaffiro bed are presented at AbitaMi. New seductive interpretations for the Varenne model.
RICH
The soft upholstery of the chair and backrest dominate, enclosed in a structured covered in accordance with typical traditional craftsmanship of leatherware. The profile, like a picture frame, surrounds a dramatic scene in leather either diamond-shaped or grained. Presented here in the ivory-coloured leather version.
RIBOT
Generous proportions for Ribot, a modular sofa with an imposing, square form. The armrest is wide, crafted with skill in an interplay of stitching and carved wood that embellishes all the profiles, details taken from the typical craft of processing leather goods. Assembled with modular elements, the chair may be pulled out with a hidden mechanism. Presented here covered in ivory chenille needlecord fabric and leather thread.
VARENNE
Contemporary upholstery born from the harmonious union of tradition and classic design. The characteristic armrest has an imposing, roundish shape, crafted along its entire edge as if by ancient master saddlers. The framework is in shiny steel. An aesthetic triumph in the version presented here, assembled in silver-grey velvet and ice nubuck leather.
WOODEN FURNITURE
The precious cabinets/bookshelves in varnished wood is embellished by the precious Ebony Macassar or Carballo veneers; the compartments are covered in bronze, golden, ivory or orange silk, with optional led spotlights. DEDALO is a line of furniture constructed in an elegant decò style, presented here in transparent varnished wood, or ebony, carballo or in shagreen. The handles are in stainless steel and leather.
BRUNELLO & FRANGIE
Brunello is a modern table produced with a bar in metal, the legs covered in leather, a surface in Ebony Macassar precious wood. The top may be round, oval or rectangular. Frangie is an elegant coordinated chair, manufactured with its structure in Ebony wood and a fabric chair and backrest.
GALILEO
Galileo is a round table with a special structure in stainless steel crafted into ring underneath. Like a sculpture, this structure stands out beneath the precious ebony top.
ZAFFIRO
A scenic effect for Zaffiro, the new Fendi Casa bed!. General proportions for the headboard, modern and square with staggered rectangular upholstery and exquisite craftsmanship: every single element is covered and personalised with equestrian embroidery. Presented here with a diamond pattern quilted satin lining, Villa Borghese embroidery.
