Cyprus ranked 5th safest country to travel to in 2020

Holidays under the sun are undeniably inspiring for many holidaymakers, and there’s a lot to look forward to when flying off to foreign shores. However, how safe is the holiday destination? Right before the Covid-19 outbreak in Europe, a French travel cover company rated Cyprus the fifth safest country to go to in 2020. Adding that Cyprus continues to be hailed as one of the top-performing countries in Europe in handling the COVID-19 outbreak, we suspect that rating must only improve through the Summer.

Terrorism, disasters and crime are simply three from the major concerns for globetrotters, and now we also have the pandemic.

Fortunately, some destinations tend to be safer than the others.

Insurly collected data on disasters, transport, the caliber of healthcare systems and amounts of violent crime and terrorist threat.
