Harley-Davidson brand is probably one of the most famous motorcycle manufacturer in the world, based in the United States of America. The founders, William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson, friends from childhood, completed the first blue print of a Harley engine in 1901. Two years later, they revealed their first motorized effort: the first Harley motorcycle. The bike was built to be a racer, with a 3-1/8 inch bore and 3-1/2 inch stroke. The factory in which they worked was a 10 x 15-foot wooden shed with the words “Harley-Davidson Motor Company” crudely scrawled on the door. Not long after, the first Harley-Davidson dealer opens shop.
History brings us to one hundred and ten years later: the Harley Davidson logo is one of the most iconic in world history. With a vast variety of model categories such as Dyna, Softail, Sportster, Street, Touring and the V-Rod, it is now a successful and one of the most recognizable brands. Harley-Davidson Cyprus opened its first shop in Lemessou Avenue in Nicosia 25 years ago. Today, it is represented in both Nicosia and Limassol. Offering customers great showrooms where they can come and visit to see the latest Harley models, but also offering after-sales service, spare parts and Harley Davidson motorclothes.
