THE RULES OF FASHION SHOW ATTENDANCE

SHOWALK

Considering that 95% of pictures from a fashion show are swamped with arms & raising iPads and iPhones, I felt obligated to bring to light some basic fashion show attendance etiquette, in other words; good manners. Here’s a quick list of DO’S & DON’ TS to keep you on everyone’s good side:

DON’T skip the line. We’re all trying to get into the same show. Some of us have even gone  about it the proper way of RSVPing way in advance and have brought our tickets and  confirmation with us.

DO get in line just like everybody else and deal with it.

DON’T stand on the runway. Once that protective cover has been removed, the show is ready  to start within seconds. Scurrying across like an insect is not flattering and just sets everything  back because you’ ve just scuffed up in a moment what they’ ve been trying to keep  pristine  for hours.

DO use the designated exit routes provided that are ‘heel’ friendly.

DON’ T stand in your seat either waving for your friends to find you. Seriously, no matter  where you are.

DO keep your name at the door if your party is late, they will be told where you are seated by  the person in charge of the seating.

DON’ T raise a smart phone to capture a shot or raising an entire iPad which blocks the view  for at least 4 people behind you. Plus, it just makes you look really silly.

DO check out moiostrov.com and our social media pages for coverage on the shows with  plenty of photographs to spare, that way you won’t be blocking anyone’ s view.

DON’ T block the photographers that’s the most important rule of all. You may have blocked  the person sitting next to you but with these guys and girls, they are there to work really hard.  Without a good shot, they may not get paid for hours of preparation.

DO just sit and show some respect by allowing their pieces to be captured as they were intended letting the designer take charge the runway at the end of his/her long-anticipated  show.
