HARLEY-DAVIDSON\u00ae CENTER CYPRUS TO COMPETE FOR TOP CUSTOM HONOURS IN\u00a0 \u2018BATTLE OF THE KINGS\u2019 CONTEST<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Harley-Davidson dealers across Europe are set to compete for the title of top custom bike builder in a winner-takes-all contest based on customizing the latest addition to the Harley range \u2013 the Street\u2122 750.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Battle of the Kings\u2019 contest, which takes place between now and April 2015, will involve staff from authorized dealerships across Europe, competing to apply their customization skills to the \u00abblank canvas\u00bb of the Street\u2122 750, the newest model in the Harley-Davidson line-up.<\/p>\n

The contest is a two-stage process, with the first stage being a South Eastern Europe Regional competition to establish the \u2018Custom King\u2019 in the region, culminating in a head-to-head contest between the EMEA champions, and the presentation of the prestigious award, at the \u2018Wheels & Waves\u2019 custom lifestyle event in Biarritz, France in June 2015.<\/p>\n

Harley-Davidson Centre Cyprus is also competing in the South Eastern Europe Regional competition with the customized Street\u2122 750 named \u201cREVOLUTION X\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is to win the Regional phase and progress to the next stage. Our customized Street\u2122 750 features an aggressive and cool Streetfighter. We are very proud of the end result and we believe that the bike will score high. It\u2019s a symmetrical bike that has been customized with unique features that do not replicate the retro\/caf\u00e9 racer styles we see on the air-cooled Harley-Davidson models, mainly the Sportster range \u201d, the General Manager of Harley-Davidson Centre Cyprus Iacovos Iacovides comments.<\/p>\n

The first Street\u2122 750 custom entries to the competition have already been constructed and are shown online.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur bike is competing against four customized Street\u2122 750 motorcycles from Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia and Turkey in this first stage of the South Eastern Europe Regional competition. The new Street 750 represents the ideal start point to demonstrate the customization skills of the dealer network on a bike that is already making a major impact among the younger generation.<\/p>\n
