See more highlights of the shows that took place that night:

KRISTO AVRAAM

Tailoring is a strong part of Kristo Avraam’s mens fashion label, and from what we’ve seen so far at every season, he challenges that quality and tries to push it even more forward, but he always makes sure it is extremely wearable for day to more formal occasions. Kristo Avraam’s pieces during the show in earthy and nautical tones on trench coats and two piece suits, embracing that it is now time to man-up making his clothes mans most wanted wardrobe.

PENELOPE DEMETRIOU

Sheer translucent fabrics and leather layers sleeves, a mix of texture and materials all in black and impressive headpieces, the hats were certainly off for Penelope Demetriou’s show. Once again we tactile leather in eccentric forms on rich sensual and dominating looks.

POLINA ARGYROU

Polina Argyrou’s signature in detail’ creations never stop to impress ones eyes. Packed with romance, a soft collision between lace, cottons and tiny embellishments, Polina Argyrou never fails to engage the audience with her superb designs made to be seen, always so authentic, we’ll always be ‘vulnerable romantics’ for these and the next collection by this designer.

MARIOS MESSIOS

Queen of hearts, those were the cards played out to us during the Marios Messios part of the show, mid-evil century dresses turned inside out and everything else left to one’s imagination, definitely better than watching a Shakespeare’ s playwright; rich in cobalt* blue and lipstick red, it was a show to remember. Marios Messios definitely plays his card right for this show, we applaud him.

E-GEOU BY ELENA GEORGIOU

Beautiful bridal hair up-dos trails of tulle with a difference, instead were applied onto sheer black translucent fabrics with delicately floral appliqués in white and bunging necklines in black, took a different turn for this E-Geou’s range that worked well; because it’s ok to go all out extravagant sometimes; especially if its during a live celebration that night, followed by Elena Georgiou’s signature bridal gowns, an empire gown that most positively was the most shining star that night.

VERA KAKOUTSI

‘A day at the races’ theme sprung to mind with Vera Kakoutsi’s wonderfull gowns and ravishingly exquisite headpieces, so precise; this was the Crème de la Crème crown of elegance, in black and white finished, you entered a monochrome wonderland, this is how to dress to impress for a festive packed gala experience.

PAVLINA NICOLAOU Z

Baroque wallpaper patterns on hourglass and fishtail dresses made to make you feel feminine and confident on tough luxe fabrics, Pavlina’s taste for elegance and understated sexiness perfectly brought on a 60’s party fever, Pavlina really took us back in time to that silver-screen Hollywood glamour.

We love it when designers let their imaginations run wild, Fashion is nothing if not inspiring, we hope our chosen highlights from the many other also achieving participants of the Cyprus Fashion Days shows; caught your attention as they did ours; and as always look forward to bringing you more fashion frenzy looks of the latest shows and runways here on moiostrov.com
