I look at art as a fulfilling feeling that sets me free from reality itself. The truth about my paintings is hidden sensitivity.
Sensitivity which is let into hidden feelings that belong to the truth of surrounding wounds that are hidden but not buried deep enough. This wounds come out as images of different states of mind, which belonged to my own personal experience that can only be upon who I am.
Philosophy
My art is influenced by my early memories, when our family owned an Italian restaurant in Paphos, Cyprus. The cuisine traditionally Italian, the décor, traditionally Greek, classical style, yet ancient, with lots of columns and very rich colours, creating an ambiance of Latin life in the Mediterranean.
My world remains influenced by that era, my art describes different images of alternative states of mind, primarily with expressions towards spirits of my life, concealed but not forgotten.
I prefer using oils on canvas, mixing rich colours, freestyle, classical yet objective, with an ancient
Greek inclination, occasionally blending, oils with crayon, chalk, and inks to suit each individual piece and its identity.
I look at my art as a way of fulfilling my inner feelings, that set me completely free !
Identity
You will also see that in my painting there are different identities about each individual painting, which is a personal touch of hidden feelings pronouncing the truth about sensitivity itself.
