Russian Business Woman of the Year 2014 Awards

November 28, 2014 at the Embassy of the Russian Federation marked a significant annual event in the business life of Cyprus. A presentation of awards titled “Russian Business Woman of the Year”.

Finalists were: Natalia Kardash (Vestnik Kipra), Anastasia Blinovа (Senso Del Tempo), Valeria Michael (LETOproperties), Olga Balakleets (Ensemble Productions), Liudmila Bozhedomova (ITERA) and Lolita Papacosta (Moi Ostrov).

The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Cyprus His Excellency Stanislav Osadchiy, the Director of the Cyprus-Russia Business Association in cooperation with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce – Antis Nathaneal and Margaret Alexander – Secretary of the Cyprus International Business Association (CIBA). The ceremony was presented by Constantinos Shiakallis of Kivotos Luxury Lifestyle.

The competition was held at the organisation and support of CBA – Cyprus Business Awards Ltd, Kivotos Luxury Lifestyle, The Leadership Academy and Special Moments Corporation. The Founder is Janice Ruffle and Award Patron is Lesley Faulker who amongst the formal speeches addressed the delegates;

Corporate Sponsors of the event were Jewellery Theatre, Poseidonia Medical Centre (ProjuvnoxTM), CNP Asfalistiki, MBS – Moscow Building Service, Kivotos Luxury Lifestyle (Versace Home). Floral arrangements and decorations were provided by Special Moments Floral Design. Gifts to all guests of the event were presented by My Miniatures – elegant canapé sets of spicy cheese chocolates to champagne. Security was provided by the International Body Guard Association. The event was also supported Zorbas Catering, ACM Christofides, Tsangarides Winery, Stoli vodka. Musical arrangement was provided by violinist Natalia Gulevich. The international Jury this year consisted of members; main judge Dina Gavarieva (The Leadership Academy), Viada Rickute, Elena Johnson and Maureen Watt.

All six finalists of the competition were awarded sponsored prizes from CNP Asfalistiki and gift
vouchers to use revolutionary technology ProjuvenoxTM rejuvenation.

The winner in the category Corporate Business was Olga Balakleets – Director of Ensemble

Productions, the company organising prestigious international events, including the annual socio-cultural event in Cyprus – Cyprus Gala-Russia Event at the Presidential Palace under the patronage of the First Lady Andri Anastasiadis in favour of radio marathon. She was presented with the CBA Prize sponsored by Jewellery Theatre, original fine art acrylic 24ct gold leaf painting by Maria Ignatiou-Shiakallu valued at €2,500, Leadership Academy Life Coach Package and a luxury gift voucher from Limegrove Spa & Fitness Club at Limassol Marina.

Liudmila Bozhedomova won in the category Top Professional. She is a General Deputy Director of the Cyprus International Group of companies “Itera” (transnational gas and energy holding) Office, as well as the Executive Director ARBK – Association of Russian Businessmen in Cyprus, a member of the Executive Committee and Director of CIBA – Cyprus International Business Association, representative of Cyprus in the WISTA – Women’s International Shipping and Trade Association – Women’s International Association of shipping and trade. She was presented with the CBA Ltd prize jointly sponsored by My Miniatures and MBS – Moscow Building Service, Leadership Academy Life Coach Package and luxury gift voucher from Limegrove Spa & Fitness Club at Limassol Marina.

ΦαψεβοοκLolita Papacosta won People’s Choice Award based on the quantity and quality of comments left by far outstripping other finalistы. Lolita is a founder, owner and director of Moi Ostrov Magazine.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to a children’s charity Hope For Children UNCRC Policy Centre.

The organisers are grateful to all the guests and participants of the contest.

The next award will be staged in March 2015 in honour of Cypriot business women in association with the International Business Women’s Day.
